Earwig Control Services in Southern California
Locally owned and operated, Bull’s Eye Pest Control has been knocking earwigs out of Southern California homes and yards since 2002. Earwigs love the cool, damp spots around our planters, mulch beds, irrigation lines, and concrete expansion joints, and they slip indoors through door sweeps, weep holes, and slab edges, especially after a heavy watering or a winter rain. We find where they are hiding, treat the harborage, and seal up the easy entry points so they stop turning up in your bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms.
Why Choose Bull's Eye Pest Control for Earwig Control?
We are independent, locally based, owned, and operated, with more than two decades of experience treating Southern California yards and homes. Our agricultural license lets us treat the full property, including the landscape, mulch, and perimeter where earwigs actually nest. Most service requests are scheduled within one business day, every service gets a minimum of 20 minutes on site, and if earwigs show back up between visits we return and re-treat at no additional charge.
- Inspection: A walkthrough of the yard, foundation, and likely entry points to find where earwigs are nesting and getting inside.
- Treatment: Targeted exterior and landscape applications with products that are safe around kids and pets when used as directed.
- Exclusion: We address moisture, mulch piles, and gaps at door sweeps, weep holes, and slab edges to cut off easy access.
- Follow-Up: Ongoing maintenance visits and free re-treats between scheduled services if earwigs come back.

FAQs
Earwig Control Questions, Answered
Most homes and businesses across our Southern California service area can be inspected within one business day, and two business days at the worst even during the busy summer season. Once we identify where the earwigs are coming from, we usually treat the same visit so you are not waiting around with them in the house.
Yes. The products we use have no fumes and no lingering odor, so your family and pets are welcome to stay around the home while we work. As a basic precaution we just ask that you stay out of the room we are actively treating until we are done. Outside, the product is usually dry within a few minutes in the summer and up to thirty minutes in cooler weather.
Earwigs love cool, damp harborage. In Southern California yards that almost always means mulch beds, planters, irrigation lines, concrete expansion joints, and dense ground cover. They slip inside through door sweeps, weep holes, garage edges, and slab gaps, usually after watering or rain. We treat the perimeter, the landscape, and the entry points together so the issue actually goes away.
You may see a few earwigs around for the next several days after a service while the treatment works. If anything is still hanging around after about a week, or if earwigs come back between your regularly scheduled visits, just let us know and we will return and re-treat at no additional charge.
Yes. We treat restaurants, offices, retail spaces, multi-family properties, and other commercial buildings across North San Diego County, Riverside County, and the High Desert. We can schedule around your hours so the treatment does not interfere with your operation.
Give us a call or request a quote online and we will collect a few details about your property and what you are seeing.
