Cricket Control in Murrieta and Southern California
Bull’s Eye Pest Control delivers fast, dependable cricket control for homes and businesses across Murrieta, Temecula, Rancho Cucamonga, San Marcos, and the rest of our Southern California service area. Crickets do not bite or sting, but they make their presence known in other ways. The constant chirping from inside a garage or wall void can wear anyone down, and house crickets and field crickets will chew on fabric, paper, and stored items once they settle in. They also tend to bring other pests with them, since spiders and scorpions feed on the same crickets you are trying to get rid of. Our local technicians know where crickets hide in this climate, how they get inside, and how to clear them out without filling your home with chemicals you can smell for days afterward.
We have been treating Southern California homes for crickets and other household pests since 2002, and we have built our reputation on three things that matter to homeowners. We answer the phone, we show up on time, and we spend enough time on the property to actually do the job right. Our technicians average a 20-minute minimum at every recurring service stop and at least 45 minutes on every initial visit, which is something a lot of larger companies cannot match when they are pushing 18 to 20 stops a day. We schedule our team for fewer stops on purpose so they have the time to inspect, treat, and answer your questions before they head to the next house.
Why choose Bull's Eye Pest Control for cricket control?
We pair careful inspections with targeted treatments to track down where crickets are nesting, what is drawing them in, and how they are getting inside. Our products have no odor and no fumes, so families and pets can usually stay home while we work. As a simple precaution we just ask that you stay out of the room we are actively treating, and once we move on you can step right back in. In the summer the product dries in a few minutes, and in the cooler months it can take up to thirty. Every job ends with a clear plan to keep crickets out of your property going forward.
- Inspection: We walk the property to find where crickets are hiding, the moisture and lighting conditions pulling them in, and the gaps and cracks they are slipping through.
- Custom Plan: A treatment plan built around your home or business, the type of cricket we are seeing, and how active the population is around the structure.
- Targeted Treatment: Interior crack and crevice work, garage and entryway focus, and a thorough exterior perimeter application that covers the full lot, fence line, bushes, and trees crickets hide in.
- Follow-Up: Scheduled service visits every two or three months to keep populations from rebuilding. If you see crickets between visits, we come back and treat again at no additional charge.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Our local technicians most often deal with house crickets and field crickets in Murrieta, Temecula, Rancho Cucamonga, San Marcos, and the surrounding areas. House crickets are the loud, light brown crickets that work their way into garages, laundry rooms, and wall voids. Field crickets are the larger dark crickets you see around landscaping, woodpiles, and outdoor lighting. Both are drawn to warmth, moisture, and the insects already living around your home, and both respond well to a thorough perimeter treatment paired with focused interior work where they have made it inside.
Most homes see cricket activity drop noticeably within the first few days after our initial service. It is normal to see a few crickets out for the next week or so as the product continues to work and as any that were hiding deep in voids come out and contact the treatment. If you are still seeing crickets a week after we have been out, just give us a call and we will come back and treat again at no additional charge. For homes with heavy outdoor pressure from landscaping or open lots nearby, our recurring service every two or three months is what keeps them from coming back.
Yes. Our products have no odor and no fumes, and families with kids and pets are welcome to stay home while we work. The only basic precaution we ask for is staying out of the specific room or area we are actively treating, and once we move on you can step right back in. Outdoor applications need a few minutes to dry in the summer and up to about thirty minutes in the wintertime before pets and kids are back out in the yard. A lot of our customers in this area prefer organic living, so we also offer exterior-only service if you would rather we skip the interior on your first visit.
Crickets follow warmth, light, and moisture. Bright outdoor lights at night, damp landscaping, mulch beds, woodpiles, and any clutter pressed up against the foundation all give them a place to gather right next to the house. From there they slip in through gaps under garage doors, weep holes, cracks in the slab, openings around utility penetrations, and any door or window that does not seal cleanly. During your inspection we point out the conducive conditions and entry points we find and treat the spots that matter most.
We offer both. A one-time treatment can knock down an active cricket population, but because crickets are constantly pushing back in from the landscape and surrounding lots, recurring service is the reliable way to keep your home cricket-free year after year. Most of our customers choose quarterly service, and homeowners with heavier pressure or less patience for the occasional bug will move up to our bimonthly plan. Both plans come with our standard $200 off promotion for new enrollments, and we also offer 5% off when you pay for the year up front.
